MIDCO
CERTIFICATIONS
We’re called to dive on the most challenging situations, with slim margins for error, so we only hire the best of the best. Midco divers are certified on a matrix of requirements that include formal training, a designated number of working days, field days, and working dives, before their ADCI exam. Every diver from entry level to operations management is ADCI certified.. Every Hazmat Diver is HAZWOPER certified by OSHA after a grueling 40-hour course over 3 days, with an 8-hour refresher course each year. By blending skills, training and experience, Midco mitigates risk to deliver results.
MIDCO
COMPLIANCE
We’re confident that our operations exceed the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations for commercial diving, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910, Subpart T – Commercial Diving Operations. We also adhere to the Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving Operations set by the Association of Commercial Divers International. With slim margins of error, safety is no laughing matter.
MIDCO
STANDARDS
We're experts in adverse underwater diving conditions like low-visibility, strong currents, hazardous materials, and confined spaces. With this level risk, we minimize whatever we can. Every member of Midco's commercial underwater diving teams are trained and certified to both ANSI (link) and ACDE (link) standards. We exceed the requirements for diving in potable water tank storage systems set by the AWWA, and all of Midco’s operations are conducted in full compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910, Subpart T – Commercial Diving Operations, as well as the Association of Commercial Divers International Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving Operations. That's our standard.
MIDCO
INSPECTIONS
All inspections conducted by our commercial divers are documented in accordance with applicable and widely recognized standards from the following agencies:
- National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE)
- Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC)
- American Welding Society (AWS)
- Concrete inspected to American Concrete Institute (ACI) standards
WE DO THAT.
At Midco Diving & Marine Services, we take on the toughest underwater conditions you can imagine. After nearly twenty years of commercial diving experience from underwater construction to municipal water tank repair – we’ve gone in where few others would even think. Highly contaminated water, confined work spaces, radiation, zero visibility, and high-altitude operations are all fair game. Whatever you’ve got in mind, we welcome the challenge.
