Midco Diving & Marine Services, Inc. was incorporated in 2003 with a single full-time diver servicing western South Dakota’s commercial marine diving services.
Today, the contracting & marine services company has expanded to employ 20+ full-time staff members, including divers, supervisors, and project managers, as well as sales and support staff.
From its headquarters in Rapid City, South Dakota, Midco has branched out into a regional office in Loveland, Colorado and various field offices throughout the U.S.
In the years that have passed since inception, our evolving team has taken on a multitude of underwater diving projects, big and small, constantly expanding upon service offerings on a nationwide scale.
It is our mission to provide respected and dependable commercial diving services that adhere to industry standards in safety and compliance. In all operations, we aim to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients while upholding the integrity of Midco Diving & Marine Services, Inc., as a company, the commercial dive industry, as a whole, and the members of our team, as individuals.
Compliance, Certifications, and Standards
The operations of our contracting & marine services company meet and exceed Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations for commercial diving, including the federally mandated “Three-man Dive Crew,” at all times.
All employed members of our commercial underwater diving team are trained and certified to the standards set forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Association of Commercial Diving Educators (ACDE). ANSI/ACDE standards can be reviewed by clicking HERE. On top of training, our team is experienced in working on, in, and around submerged structures in adverse underwater diving conditions, including limited visibility and strong currents.
ADCI Certified Divers
Our divers comply with the more stringent consensus standards of the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI). Our team members are certified on a matrix of requirements that include formal training, a designated number of field days and working dives, working days, and an ADCI exam. All divers and dive supervisors employed with our contracting & marine services company are ADCI certified.
